Kids have been sleeping overnight in museums for years, dreaming among live sharks and dinosaur bones. Finally adults are getting to join the fun.
The American Museum of Natural History in New York has offered sleepovers for families since 2006.
This time it was different. On Friday, the museum held its first adults-only sleepover. People 21 and older were allowed. Visitors paid $375 to attend, with a modest discount for members ($325). The event sold out in three hours.
At 6:30 P.M. 150 persons entered the Museum bringing all necessities for a comfortoble slumber party, camp beds were provided.
Included, a three-course dinner and snacks, with alcoholic drinks and an orginezed program.
